Solar photovoltaics, also known as solar PV systems, use photovoltaic cells to capture the sun’s energy. They don’t need direct sunlight to work because they can still generate electricity even if it is a cloudy day. Sunlight is converted into electricity which can then be used to light your home and run your domestic appliances. You get paid for the electricity you produce through the goverment FEED-IN tariff.
Using a stove and a boiler together with our linked system, you can receive your hot water throughout the summer with solar panels – while in the winter months your stove will provide all your hot water and heating needs. This linked system enables several heating appliances to work together to maximize your heating efficiency. The solar installation requires a solar enabled cylinder. Existing cylinders can be adapted via an emersion boss.
